'89 FIREBIRD FORMULA OF TODD EARLEY

Here are pictures of my 1989 Firebird Formula. I bought it in August of '99 with 58,000 miles on it. I got the car for $5,000. I would have paid any amount for it. As soon as I saw the car I knew I wanted it, the lines, the stance and everything about it appealed to me. It has a 305 tbi engine, automatic transmission, WS-6 suspension, and power everything. The car has been a dream since purchased it. I have had minimal trouble with it.

This is the first Firebird I had ever owned, and upon buying it I had no idea the fraternity I was joining. Everywhere I go I get comments on it.

Firebird owners are a rare breed. There hasn't been one yet that I have met that doesn't know every square inch of his or her car, or everything about my car for that matter. I never really cared about cars or what made them work before I bought my Formula. Now I can hardly wait for the next project. I have made a lot of friends just by owning my bird. Instead of just working on my car I find myself in the garage of other Firebird owners seeing what I can do to help. A lot of people find my fascination with Firebirds strange. These are also the same people that have never owned one or driven one. All I tell them is to drive one just once and you'll see why Firebirds owners are the ultimate car enthusiasts. Hopefully you can fit these pics of my pride and joy in your magazine.
