'91 Firebird of Josh Donald
This issue's featured car is the '91 Firebird of Josh
Donald. Here is his story:
This is my '91 Firebird that I picked up last summer. The car was 90% restored
a little over a year ago and was donated to a Children's Foundation as a raffle
prize for a benefit ride. I purchased the car from the gentleman who won it. I
just got the car stored for winter last weekend and I will be spending the
winter making plans for the car.
Here are some photos of my 1998 Trans Am with the trophy I
was awarded for Favorite 4th Generation Firebird. I have $15,000 under the hood,
LS6 engine, reprogrammed, reworked TBI, rebuilt custom transmission, custom
torque converter, and long tube headers. Dynoed at almost 500 HP. $5,000 in
tires and rims with ceramic brakes and slotted rotors front and back. It has
never been driven in the winter as have a lot of Firebirds. I wouldn't think of
it in Canada eh.
I hope to get down to see the members of the club at one of the meets.
