2016 Pontiac Adventures in Wisconsin Dells
b
y Ed SaariIt was a GREAT event!!
For our third anniversary, we once again increased our participation. The 2016 event saw an increase in older Pontiacs and we certainly had FUN. Yes, it was a beautiful weekend for the Pontiac Adventures driving event. We had some wonderful comments from couples who enjoyed the event because of all the events they could do together. We had an amazing array of Pontiacs, old and new and we had fun - driving & showing Pontiacs!!!
The start of one of our great tours at the 2016 Pontiac Adventures event. The track at Dells Raceway Park once again proved to be fun to all who participated in this exciting event. Then on Saturday night we visited Edge Of Dells for burn out action - and you won’t believe the stories!! Just one of our tours staging for a group picture before hot laps at Dells Raceway Park
The tailgate party was well received and we will work to enhance the experience next year with hopefully grills and also lighting under the tents just to mention a few of the improvements we will be working on.
Tours on Friday in 2017 will be at 9:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm and on Saturday the tours will be 1:00pm, 1:30pm and 2:00pm. Sunday’s tours will depart at the same time to get everyone back in time for that fantastic brunch.
We will have at least one tour stopping at an orchard and all new tours for you to enjoy, both scenic and spirited. So, drive in next year and experience the best Pontiac show and driving event in the Mid-West, driving on curvy lower Wisconsin roads in the fall with the leaves turning along the roads - what a great way to spent the weekend!!
THERE IS A REASON to be here in 2017- well there are many reasons as we are the ONLY EVENT in the nation with these types of events: Spirited Driving Tours, Scenic Driving Tours, Hot Laps at Dells Raceway Park, Burn outs, Judging.
For 2017, the event will be held on September 15 - 17, 2017 - mark your calendars and come drive with us.
Thanks to all who participated in this record year and next year will be even bigger!!
