Title: 1967 Ponitac firebird sprint?
Post by: Billy on February 10, 2010, 05:59:09 PM
Hi,I have recently purchased a 1967 pontiac firebird.I was told when I bought the car, that it was a "Sprint".I ran a vin decoder on the vehicle, and it said it was a sports coupe. The car Runs and has the original 6cyl motor, with 4barrel carb, and 2speed tranny, with sprint emblams under the doors.I am just trying to find out if the car is a true sprint car or not.And how Rare the car is.Did some reasearch on sprint cars, and found out they were pretty rare."1,850" of the 1967's were sprints.I'm just trying to find out how I would figure out what I have.Any information would be very helpful.Thank you
