Title: Engine building
Post by: may2017 on May 03, 2017, 12:38:25 PM
Have a question for some guys that really know the 3.8s on the 4th generation. I have an extra block an was wondering what it could do with an after market crank, comp cam, forged pistons and rods and a turbo down the road. Any suggestions ?
Iím new at building any advice helps also wondering if I should just get an LT1 but donít want to sacrifice handling

Put either a LT1 or an LS1 in it.  It will be cheaper in the long run. Then replace all your bushings with new moog bushings, coil overs, and a upgraded sway bar. Thatís all youíll need for on the street.
