What about a turbo swap on a 2000 Pontiac Firebird 3.8?

Your L36 can handle just about as much as the old gen 1 turbo 3.8 and have more room. You know that the 3.8 got shrunk down in the 90ís to make it small enough to fit the modern (at the time) smaller engine compartments. This also made them lighter in weight. Having a smaller block gives you more room for turbo piping.
