Title: Oil Pressure Not Consistent
Post by: august2020 on August 03, 2020, 01:35:16 PM
I have a ‘91 Firebird 305. The oil pressure gauge doesn’t stay consistent after car warms up and I come to a stop. It drops to bottom but doesn’t affect how the car runs.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Oil pressure when warmed up will always be lower at idle and higher when accelerating. Put a mechanical gauge in to really make sure oil pressure is good because stock gauges are not good.
