Title: Door key replacement or replace the locks?
Post by: AAMD80ORD on April 19, 2008, 03:52:20 PM
Looking to purchase a 1989 GTA.  The owner said that he lost his door keys, is it possible to get a replacement key or do I have to get new locks.   Any idea what this would cost?

Thanks
chuck

I would recommend just getting a new lock set.  I am pretty sure you can purchase them new for door and trunk with new keys for about $30.  I am sure a lock smith would charge more than $30 to make a new key for your old locks.
