Title: front parking lights on 1967 firebird

hi my name is scott i have a 67 firebird that i purchased with no front parking lights i purchased new ones and plugged into original harness and when the parking lights are on they come on but when i turn on the headlights they go out is this normal for a 1967 firebird. thanks for your time scott you can email me at sparkplug23000@aol.com

Sorry for the long response, but you have a short circuit or crossed wire somewhere.  That shouldn't happen.  Have you checked it with a multimeter?
