68 firebird Steering linkage
« on: November 01, 2009, 12:03:52 PM »
Hey all,
I'm restoring my 68 firebird conv. My question is this I am disassembling the subframe and all the suspension, brakes and steering...if I dissasemble tehe centerlink tierods etc... can they be reassembled or will parts need to be changed. Also is there a check off vehicle for these parts, balljoints. Lastly is there a way to check the front coil springs and how difficult is it to reinstall the springs with the subframe off vehicle. I figured out it would have been easier to remove the utilizing the vehicles weight with the subframe installed. Any help/thoughts would be great.
