Body Lines
« on: December 12, 2010, 05:06:46 AM »
As I am sure you know, the body lines on the second generation Firebrds do not have as sharp of an edge on them as the Camaro does.  I had to do some body work on the doors, across the body line areas of my '73 Formula and have block sanding them on the flat areas but am now left with more of a sharp body line such as a Camaro has. I am wondering if anyone has any tricks to how to keep the body line rounded off and yet straight at the same time?  The body work is pretty much done on this car other than I am having a hell of a time getting these lines to look right.  Any suggestions?

yes,  set your fenders and doors as good as you can get them. and use glass filler , and fill the gaps. then use a dremel tool to cut the straight lines.

I was more referring to the lines that are in the center of the door and fender that run between the wheel wells.
