Rally II Wheel Installation Problem
« on: October 30, 2013, 08:32:01 PM »
Hello, looking for some guidance. I recently purchased a complete set of "Rallye 2" wheels with BGF T/A RWL P215/70R15 tires from Coker Tire for a 1974 Esprit. I have front disc brakes and rear drums. The car originally had Good Year Polyglas F7814 tires on it. When the wheels arrived, they would not fit over the front hubs so I needed to purchase wheel spacers for the front only. Rear wheels fit fine. Now my problem is that the front tires stick out a little past the wheel wells and when going over bumps there is tire rub.

Has anyone else ever faced this problem, and if so what did you do? Coker seems baffled and claims to not have ever seen any issue with ay of these wheels not fitting over the hub.

Help!
