Idle rough and missing
« on: December 08, 2014, 01:46:56 PM »
I am looking for some solutions. I have a 91 TA with a 305 tuned port. It has 175K miles. The compression is okay on all cylinders. I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and ignition module. I also replaced the fuel filter. The car starts and seems fine until it reaches operating temperature. It then starts to idle rough (surging) and starts missing with a reduction in power.  I have had the Catalytic Converter removed and use Flowmasters.

It sounds like the connection terminals could be expanding when warm.
