Transmission Dip Stick
« on: January 24, 2015, 12:52:45 PM »
What would cause the transmission dip stick to push up about a inch after driving ? Could the vent line be pluged?

Normally itís the oil dipstick that does this when there is too much crankcase pressure and not enough venting, so I would guess yes either a line is clogged or your transmission is putting out too much pressure. It could still be your crankcase as well as the venting occurs on the part with the most fatigue. For instance I went through three heater control valves and and heater core when mine did it.
