slow blinker at stop lights
« on: January 26, 2015, 12:29:08 AM »
I have a 72 Formula 400 and when I'm stopped at a stoplight, the blinker slows way down, lights dim.  I've had the alternator checked and it's supposed to be ok.  What would cause the blinker to darn near come to a halt.  When driving up to the light or stop sign while on the gas it blinks at a normal rate.  Undersized alternator?  slipping belts?  Belts are tight.  Appreciate any thoughts.
