I was wondering if somebody could help me with this. Our 2000 Trans Am was running fine then the other week it left my wife stranded on the side of the road. It just stopped running. It would crank over but would not start. So I started to dig into it and checked ohms for key at plug from switch and that is good. The only problem I seem to be finding is that the relay to fuel pump is only getting about 8-9 volt. So I am stumped at this point. I could really use some help. Thanks.

Sounds like something with the and the alarm on the car whichwould kill power to the fuel pump!! Unhook battery for awhile maybe see if it would reset!! Good luck!!
