Has anyone replaced the windshield antenna lead to the radio and dash speaker with a dual speaker in a second generation Firebird?
How much of the dashboard needs to be dismantled? Thanks in advance.

A:   Attached is an image of where the antenna wire is on the firewall. It is a real pain to get to. You may (emphasize may) be able to get to it by removing the 2 gauge cluster.
I had the luxury of getting to it when I removed my whole dash (as shown). As for the speakers, I have seen people remove the main cluster and get them up in that way.
