Stroker Engine

This will be a dumb question but since I do not modify my Trans Am, what are they telling you when they say or mean by a stroker engine.

A stroker typically is an engine whose displacement has been increased by installing a crankshaft with longer throws, thereby causing more swept area of the piston within a combustion chamber. There's no dumb questions, you're only dumb if you don't ask any.
