Hood Scoop Flapper
« on: May 10, 2020, 11:46:10 AM »
I am the guy who just got his 1971 Trans Am 4 speed delivered in Ottawa, Canada. Now that I have the car, I started fixing what is not correct. So...I have a good question for you 1971 Trans Am experts.

Since my 455 was modified with aftermarket heads, intake and Holley carb, I was wondering how to make my currently non-functional scoop flapper work?

Can I just order and install the bracket and wiring kit that would normally link the Q-Jet to the scoop and install it on my 850 Holley?

Two electric solenoids in the scoop that are wired to a kick down switch. Most will put switch under gas pedal to operate.
