BCM/ECM Connections
« on: February 02, 2021, 04:10:42 PM »
Does anyone ever perform some kind of maintenance on their BCM /ECM connections. I was thinking I would at least just disconnect and reconnect a couple times to maybe help ensure a good connection.  Maybe spray some cleaner? Any thoughts?
Since I have owned the car my low coolant light is on more often than not, even though itís not low. I always assumed a bad sensor.
I just thought I possibly had an intermittent connection at the module.

Probably just wishful thinking it could be that easy.

Iím very much of the, ďif it ainít broke, donít fix it,Ē mind-set when it comes to electrical connectors. But if I had a problem, I would try cleaning all the connections first.
