My car (a 2000 Trans Am WS6) came with a Kenwood Bluetooth conversion radio system in it.  Luckily the previous owner kept the original radio/CD with the car, which I had re-installed.  Unfortunately,  The CD player does not work, and the display does not light up to show radio stations or the time on the clock.  I am hoping someone in the club can help me locate a used WORKING radio to put in it. I have researched the parts stores that are sponsors of this club, however I have not found anyone that has such a unit.  I have not yet tried researching local junk yards.
I look forward to reading the EAGLE and being a part of the club!  Thank you!

I read your story on page 14 of the August issue concerning finding a source for repaired and remanufactured radios, including  TAs, Firebirds, Formulas, etc. I had my TA's radio-CD player repaired or swapped out for a good-as-new unit several times. The article did not seem to provide contact information for the author, Terry Hilbert of Bettendorf, Iowa.

I don't know if he has tried the folks at United Radio. Their email address is automotive@unitedradio.com and their web address is https://www.unitedradio.com. Their Automotive Electronics Division is located in Syracuse, NY.

Their phone #s are 800 448-0944 and 315 446-5570. I have used United Radio products and services in the past and was always happy with the outcome. Could you please forward my recommendation to Terry Hilbert.
