67 centerlink replacement
« on: September 26, 2006, 02:17:39 PM »
I have a 67 'Bird that sombody has already converted the centerlink/idlerarm/pitmanarm to reverse polarity. The stock idler arm and pitman arm have male ends and my current setup has female ends. My problem is that even if I wanted to convert back to stock, I can't find an idler arm. Any suggestions? :-\

Stock steering components are readily available. Pitman arm from National Parts Depot (800-874-7595) part number depends on P/S vs, manual. Tie rod ends and idler arm available through local NAPA store.  NPD also has a rack & pinion bolt on changeover. Not cheap though. Near a thousand dollars.
