TransamNick is here
« on: December 28, 2007, 01:09:30 PM »
Hello All,

My name is Nick Dardano and I am a new Trans am owner (and new member). I just wanted to send out a quick intro. I have never payed much attention to Trans ams before May 2007 nor did I think they were that great (a shame since I grew up 30 minutes from the GM plant that built them near Montreal). I accidently came across one from someone I new that was moving away that had to sell. I took a close look at the car and test drove it and now I am a trans am nut! I love the car. The car grew on me quickly (very quickly) and I was really impressed with the performance (and surprised- for some reason I was expecting lots of noise whith little go- I was wrong!).

The car is a 99 convertible, A4 and you would not believe this was a 9 year old car! Actually when I brought it home my wife thought it was new.

I haven't bumped in to any other owners my way so I am hoping to make it to the Trans AM National in 2008.

Welcome to the Site and also welcome as a new Trans Am Owner.  The Trans Am Nationals is a great place to be and meet other Trans Am Owners.  Hope to see you there.
