Hello, I have a 1989 Formula with a 5.0 TPI 5 Speed and I love the performance. I just aquired another 305 tpi engine Wiring harness computer and transmission out of a friends 87 Camaro, and the engine is junk. So my question is.... If I take the tpi system and heads off from the 5.0 that its on now, and put it on a 5.7 block, will I need to switch computers? Or will the stock computer still work for the bigger displacement block? And is there anything I should watch out for in this swap? ANY usefull info would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!
