instrument panel wiring help.

I have a 1979 t/a f series and the previous owner partially installed a painless wiring kit.  all that was left was the instrument panel.  i have all the illumination finished and working properly except for when i turn on the lights and the instrument panel lights come on i have the left blinker indicator staying lit up and my left front blinker bulb stays lit up also, what could possibly be my problem.  any ideas and help offered will be greatly appreciated....
