1983 Firebird S/E pin stripe - need help
« on: October 30, 2006, 03:26:54 PM »
Hi,

I've had to replace a fender on my 1983 Firebird S/E which was pristine, all matching, rust free until one of my son's clipped it when backing out his car.  I've hung a fresh fender on her, but I can not locate the pin strip I need to complete the work.

The car is two-tone, dark brown with golden colored lower panel colors. The pin stripe is 3/4" wide, three colors: light brown, golden brown, dark brown.  I can not locate a source for the stripe.

So my question to the members of the board, please direct me to a source of NOS pin stripe or a source of new stock, closely matching pin stripe.   I'm an old Illinois boy who now lives in the in the super-duper boonies west of the Missouri River and I'm out of luck locating anything locally out this way.

Thanks much,
Doug

Phoenix Graphix should have what you need.  Check out this page: http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/1983ta.htm .  I am also a distributor of thiers so let me know if you need help just purchasing the stripe only.
