Bird Decal
« on: November 05, 2010, 06:01:33 PM »
I have a picture of a 1970"s Trans Am, my husband and I are restoring a 1976.  I have a picture that shows the bird decal as a smaller version with the wings open and not filled in, a lot like the regular bird, but much smaller and mostly like an open drawing.  More paint shows through the wings and takes up much less room on the shaker hood.  Very pretty and classy looking.  I can't find a picture on the net that shows this particular version of the bird.  Does any one have an idea about this.  I can scan the pic and upload if someone thinks they can help.  Also, we are having trouble finding a viable dash pad.  Any information will be very appreciated.  Always have been a TA fan and are really excited about this refurb.

Thank you for your help!

Cindy

Also, where do other folks get their parts?  We have purchased from Classic Industries and mostly have been happy.  If there is another vendor, I would be happy to have that information as well.  This will be the 2nd refurb we have done, the other was a Mustang, so doing a Pontiac is totally different.  Please if you have any info, we would love to talk with you.

Thanks for the replies but the bird I am looking for is not like any of these.  I will scan and up load the pic of what I am looking for on Monday.

Thanks!
