I thought your car was originally black?

question about the bird decal
« Reply #3 on: November 05, 2010, 05:59:01 PM »
I have a picture of a 1970"s Trans Am, my husband and I are restoring a 1976.  I have a picture that shows the bird decal as a smaller version with the wings open and not filled in, a lot like the regular bird, but much smaller and mostly like an open drawing.  More paint shows through the wings and takes up much less room on the shaker hood.  Very pretty and classy looking.  I can't find a picture on the net that shows this particular version of the bird.  Does any one have an idea about this.  I can scan the pic and upload if someone thinks they can help.  Also, we are having trouble finding a viable dash pad.  Any information will be very appreciated.

Thank you for your help!
