95 bird...what to do??
« on: November 13, 2006, 04:20:16 PM »
I have a 95 bird 3.4L 5 speed standard with 320,000 km of service..T-tops .Body in good condition. I can't afford to fix it (head gasket) at the moment, and think it would be a shame to send it to the wreckers. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

HI:

You Want To Bone out a Bird ???   :'(

It is your choice only you can decide // But I think it would be a shame; also to send it too the bone-yard over a couple of Head Gasket’s.

If it is all possible try to see if you can store it some where?! ??? = :)
And if not you can always try to sell it out right for a few $$$$ !

( The Value is about  $3,710 [–] The total Repair Cost to fix )

Hope This Can Be Of Some Help!

I am a NFTAC, Member and I was at one time an auto mechanic working for a local GM dealer here in my home town back in the mid-to late '80's now  I currently enjoy working on my own Pontiac's especially on my '85 T/A // making maintenance repairs, repairs, modifications and performance modifications I also enjoy meeting and /or talking to other Firebird & T/A owners an get into technical debates;hopefully just as long as the debate's doesn't go into a to heated argument.
