It looks great!!
We bought a 1988 GTA from our son about 10 years ago.
We have never done car shows and are thinking of selling it.
Do you know where I could go to check the price?
Thanks,
Marjorie

The price is obviously going to vary greatly depending on the condition.  I paid $3850 for this one with several electrical problems and some obvious work needed.  I've seen them for as high as $10k or more and as low as $1200.  Your best bet is to check either ThirdGen.org's forums, or just ask for what you think is fair based on the condition.  Let's see it and see if we can help you out with a price. :)

Yeah, I'm not selling her after all.  I decided to keep her and convert to a manual instead.  More than one way to skin a cat...

The car looks great!  Enjoy!!  I have an 89 GTA in the Maple Leaf red color - unique, but I like it.  My rear spoiler has it appears, shrunk and split on the inner portion of both sides.  Did you have this problem during your restore and if so, can you recommend how to repair this age problem?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Mike, the urethane spoilers are FAMOUS for shrinking, splitting, and peeling.  The ONLY way to fix it is to get rid of it.  When I restored Emma, I went with a fiberglass replacement from Hawks Third Gen.  It looks so original that most people don't know it's NOT until they touch it.  Then they're amazed at how well the finish came out.
