Q: I changed the FPR (Fuel
Pressure Regulator) today. I found these 2 vacuum lines and they are so brittle.
What do they do and how do you change them?
A: I believe that is the
EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) control valve. One of those vacuum lines goes to
the underside of the throttle body, the other goes to the EGR valve. They are
plastic, not rubber. If they aren’t broke, be careful and leave them alone.
