Q: I just found a unicorn. Can anyone tell me how many were made like this? It is a ‘96 Trans Am, LT1, 6 speed, convertible. Beige top and interior. It has only 68K miles!
A: Per this site (www.transamworld.com/1996-breakdown.htm) , 632 convertible were made. 14 in your color. 127 of the 632 were 6 speeds (20%). I didn’t see a specific breakdown for tranny/color combo for the y82/84 cars but taking 20% of the 14 in your color only leaves around 3. Probably close enough.
What a great color! I have a ‘98 Formula 6 speed in bright green metallic. 34 in that color- mine is about one of 10-12 with that tranny.
